About Alissa Michelle Jewelry

Alissa Michelle Jewelry is a collection of earthy, eclectic, playfully elegant necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

We hand-select only the finest quality semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, Czech and Japanese glass, lampwork beads and other materials from around the world, and use only silver and gold clasps and ear wires to protect the health of your skin. Unless otherwise noted, necklaces and bracelets are strung on supple yet strong nylon-coated steel, which will never stretch, break or lose its shape, ensuring years of wear. We are committed to high quality, detailed craftsmanship while keeping our designs affordable for the regular gal who just happens to have expensive taste.

All pieces are limited edition or one-of-a-kind and are handcrafted with care by Alissa in her Silver Spring studio. Alissa has been designing jewelry for over 10 years, but her business took off when she was invited to become a founding member of liberalARTS, an intergenerational arts collaborative in central Pennsylvania. Alissa Michelle Jewelry was founded in 2001 under the name AB Designs. Alissa's work has been featured in over 20 art shows and festivals along the east coast from Boston to DC. During the day, Alissa "moonlights" as an environmental professional and community development specialist.
